Welcome To The National Theatre. We've had a tough few months and things aren't back to normal yet, but it's great to see there is still theatre happening along the North West Coast. Currently two school productions either on their way or on the stage and two short play festivals from Deloraine Dramatic Society and DoMaur productios. Information below and as always I'll update as I get it.
It is also great to see that all the societies and organisations putting on shows are working with the Covid-19 regulations and keeping audiences safe. Social distancing is happening at all venues and if you have any concerns click on the links on this site for the indivdual societies to get the latest information for each show.

Phantom Of The Talent Factor
Penguin High School
Phantom of the Talent Factor is a modern-day retelling of Phantom of the Opera, trading the Parisian opera hall for a TV talent show studio. It tells the story of Christina, a talented but shy contestant on the show who is being held back by biased judges, self-centred contestants and her own lack of self-belief. That is until one day, when a song appears on her mirror and a mysterious voice calls her name…
Phantom of the Talent Factor is written by Robin Bailes and Nick Turner and features popular songs from throughout the years, which fit the story as well as that famous organ motif. In a year where the Arts has battled to survive, we could all use an Angel of Music watching over us and the 2020 Penguin District School Production promises just that.
