Hope you're all having a great run up to Christmas.In other news, The National Theatre of Tasmania has come offline and are pleased to say we submitted a play for the Deloraine One Act Play Festival. Ross and Andie Hay were proud to win best ensemble and best production performing the short play 'Bucket List' written by Meander playwright Greg Burgess. Looking forward to more next year with some exciting news coming up about Ross's new play.

A COVID Christmas Carol

After an arduous year under the thumb of new safety measures and restrictions, a group of inharmonious visionaries and relentless enthusiasts from the local theatre company try in earnest to prepare a performance of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol for their community. The cast and crew make a collective effort to craft a memorable celebration of Christmas (in all its mystery) together… but with appropriate social distancing of course.
The Devonport Repertory Theatre Society is excited to present A covid Christmas Carol. This humorous one act play written by Joanna Benjamin & Bethany Baker reflects some of the challenges faced when trying to present community theatre under the temporary health and safety regulations currently in place.
Due to restricted seating, tickets are limited. Book early to avoid disappointment.

This exciting musical story about the life of a rock ‘n’ roll legend, covers the three short but prolific years from the beginning, arrival, and tragic departure of Buddy Holly on the world’s music scene. It contains some 20 classic songs from that era. The is a family show that will appeal to all ages.
DCS presents a concert-style production with a strong emphasis on the songs and music of Buddy and the era.
